Save NowThis one week assignment dealt largely with anthropometrics and its effect on the generation of a buildings form. We were restricted to 130 concrete blocks and a piece of structural plywood. The aim was to create a comfortable space for both study and sleeping whilst using a minimal space. My aim was to avoid making a prison like cell and opening the space up by having many openings and utilising the views from the sites, which I selected carefully. In all of my designs I took advantage of the sites major attributes and used existing benches, sculpture and walls. Privacy was also a major consideration which I took into account with all my designs.
