After our review we discussed our designs further and spoke of some of the positives and then some of the negatives. Despite many of our good ideas it showed that we needed further research to produce an intelligent solution to our brief.
The areas requiring research are as follows:
-Perhaps most importantly we needed to research the climate and possible solutions. As we have not studied any Environmental subjects this was perhaps the area which could let our design down. =Josh
-Another major area we needed to research was appropriate materials to fulfill all aspects of the brief. =Tim
-We needed to research services, such as solar power, compostible toilets, water tanks etc. =Tim
-Cutural aspects through gaining an understanding of the people, their beliefs and philosophies of the land, which they know so intimately. =Josh
-Continue researching and discovering the aspects of minimalism and the potential of multi-functional spaces and appliances. Research Anthropometrics to help the generation of spaces. =David
-Research what needs to be private and/or what could be shared spaces and experiment with the layout and spaces and again test what is essential. =David
