Hey guys here are the notes from our review Friday...
Concerns from design team/Sam...
They mostly consisted of what we will be cladding the building in, colours etc, they would like us to blend it to the site better to fit into our concept we are taking on with the tree supports. As well as increasing personal storage and privacy.
Solutions discussed after review...
Colours...we were thinking of using colours to show the zones of the building...should we continue with this path we are going to ensure they consist of "earthy tones".
Storage...we are going to increase shelving and draw space above and below our sleeping pods...as well as around the singular study pods we are including off our corridor.
Privacy...as well as including a small seating area near the entrance we will be including some small study pods for individual use along the corridor.
I think these solutions will just about tie the whole thing together boys, which is awesome.
Sam's suggestions to solve now...now Sam would like us to look at how and where we are attaching our power and services solutions (look into appliances for kitchen etc and power usage), as well as a toilet system...once this is done look at showing them through our sections and plans to check over next week b4 final presentation!
So as discussed our jobs before our next meeting will be...
Reece_look into water service solution...(could you look into a toilet to please)
Dan_finalise layout of supports on building...send to Reece so he can add services in.
Liz(me)_look at our cladding system, work out if we have enough catchment area to supply our water and look at appliance power usage.
